Harvey, I love the thinking of Boundary management and know it's a process of caring; maybe even love. I work with supervisors and the few really get what you're saying. Train, coach and trust that the team can do the work without the watchful eye of their leader. It leads to people respecting themselves and their peers. What a great concept. Managers think they have built enpowerment and thus given the team power, but many times I think he or she has thought they empowered the team, but really held out the possibility that they would fail. Thanks for the article.
